The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has published a list of 235 Australians excluded from the country “in response to politically motivated sanctions imposed on Russian individuals and legal entities by the Government of Australia as part of the West’s collective Russophobic campaign” . .

“A decision has been made to indefinitely deny entry to Russia to 235 Australian citizens who are members of municipal councils that actively promote the anti-Russia agenda in their country,” a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
“Given that the Canberra official shows no signs of renouncing his anti-Russia position and the continued introduction of new sanctions, we will update the Russian exclusion list accordingly.”
