Elizabeth Hurley reunited with her ex-husband Arun Nayar at a special screening of her son Damian Hurley’s directorial debut, Strictly Confidential, held at the Robin Williams Center in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday.
The 58-year-old Briton divorced the 59-year-old Englishman in 2011 after just three years of marriage due to alleged “unreasonable behavior.”
But that didn’t stop Elizabeth and her 21-year-old ‘twin’ from ringing in the New Year with Arun, who is the CEO of Direction Software LLP.
Damian, who celebrates his 22nd birthday on Thursday, admitted that the deaths of his biological father Steve Bing and Hurley’s ex-fiancé Shane Warne partially inspired his mystery thriller set in the Caribbean.
Hurley, whose ‘close friend’ also committed suicide in 2019, said Eastern Time on Tuesday: “I had been through a lot of loss, a lot of pain.”

There has been much talk of Damian directing Elizabeth in her lesbian sex scenes with her co-star Pear Chiravara, who, at 28, is 30 years younger than her.
“What happens between the actress and me, why people are making a fuss, was an integral part of the story,” the Piper actress stressed to ET, who felt “very safe in his hands.”
‘It was important. There is nothing free. I guess it’s just for me. I’ve just been myself, I can’t help it if people see it that way.’
Hurley added of the 18-day shoot: “We just didn’t have time. Shooting an independent movie, every second counts, every minute matters… That (sex) scene was one of seven we shot that day. It was the last thing we had to do.” “I had in mind. We just had to get the scene, make it beautiful and move on to the next 12 scenes that day.”
The Lionsgate film arrives in limited US cinemas this Friday, as well as streaming on Prime Video and Apple TV+, but doesn’t start streaming in the UK until May 13.
