Sunday Night Football was delayed indefinitely as thunderstorms passed through Pittsburgh for the Steelers’ game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Originally scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET, the game was delayed “until further notice” due to storms in the area.
A message on the Acrisure Stadium screens informed fans that they could remain in their seats while the players waited in the locker room for an update on the kick-off time.
The city itself was under a severe storm warning in Pennsylvania. Heavy rain was also falling on the stadium.
The matchup will see Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (2-2) take on Justin Fields and his team, who are 3-1 entering their Week 5 matchup.
