Mr Hoad, originally from Dalby, was then airlifted to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Mr Hoad’s friend Shayden Russell launched a fundraising campaign to help support Shalica, Mr Hoad’s partner of more than a decade.
“(They) have been together for over 14 years and there was no doubt that they were each other’s soul mates,” Ms Russell told the website. GoFundMe page.
“They had big plans for the future when this tragedy happened. We are praying for a huge miracle.
The fundraising page said Mr Hoad was on life support after suffering a severe brain haemorrhage and his chances of survival were slim.
“For those of you who were lucky enough to meet Lincoln, (you) knew he was always there to help you, no matter who you were or what time of day it was,” Ms. Russell said.
“He was an outgoing, loud, funny and lovely guy…his smile was contagious and he would know right away how to cheer you up!”
“He was always there when you needed to vent or chat,” she said.
The fundraiser had already raised more than $12,000 of its $15,000 goal as of Monday morning.
