Dakota Johnson was back in the spotlight Tuesday night when she made her first public appearance since news of a secret split and reconciliation with Chris Martin surfaced.
The actress joined director Christy Hall at AMC Century City for a special Film Independent screening of her 2023 film, Daddio.
Johnson, 34, who co-produced and starred in the low-budget drama, turned heads in a white tank top and baggy jeans, paired with a stylish oversized jacket and heels.
The American star attended the event as his partner Chris Martin tours mainland Europe with Coldplay on their extensive Music Of The Spheres world tour.
While Johnson took the stage for a question-and-answer session before Tuesday’s screening in Los Angeles, Martin, 47, was on stage for Coldplay’s first of two consecutive shows at Budapest’s Puskas Arena.

Johnson and Martin are said to have had problems in their relationship, but are “going strong” according to sources (pictured together in June 2022).
The couple, who have been together since 2017, are said to be “going strong” as they are each busy with their individual careers.
But insiders claim they secretly split after having a problem in their relationship, before quietly reuniting.
A source tells PEOPLE: “They’ve had ups and downs, but now they’re definitely back.”
Johnson recently premiered his HBO series Am I Okay? He also premiered Daddio’s latest feature film at the Tribeca Film Festival on Monday.
Martin is currently at the end of his Music Of The Spheres tour with Coldplay, which began in March 2022 and ends in November with multiple dates in New Zealand.
The low-key power couple was last seen together in February during a love trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Then, weeks later, it was claimed that the two were “engaged” in March.
It was said at the time that the Coldplay singer proposed to the actress ‘some time ago’ and that he has the full blessing of his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 51, and their children Apple, 19, and Moses , 17.

The couple has kept their romance private since they began their relationship six years ago.
A source told The Mirror in March: “The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private.” But now they are being open about it with their circles.
‘They have been in love with each other since day one, so taking the next step was inevitable.
“They’re in no rush to plan the wedding, they’re just enjoying making their engagement official.”
Johnson was also seen wearing an emerald green ring on her ring finger on her 34th birthday in Los Angeles last October.
The couple met through mutual friends and “have never been apart” since, the actress told Vanity Fair in June 2022.
They were first seen together in 2017, a year after the musician’s divorce from Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth.
However, it was initially unclear whether the pair were dating or just close.
In June 2019, the couple had a falling out, which was rumored to be a result of the Coldplay frontman pressuring them to have children.
This was a leap that Johnson, in her professional prime, was reportedly unwilling to make. However, before the summer was over, they got back together.
Johnson’s parents are actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.
The two separated: Don married Kelley Phleger in 1999 and Melanie married Antonio Banderas in 1996. They divorced in 2015.
