The Dallas Cowboys lost again on Sunday afternoon in the NFL, but the situation was aggravated by the loss of quarterback Dak Prescott during the game due to a hamstring injury.
The Cowboys now fall to 3-5 after losing to the Atlanta Falcons and have an NFC East matchup next week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Prescott also appeared to have a right hand injury late in the third quarter.
The team confirmed that it was the hamstring injury that kept the quarterback out of the game.
Prescott completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions, ending his streak of three straight games with two interceptions. Prescott had three carries for 30 yards.

Cooper Rush replaced Prescott for the Cowboys, who lost 27-21.
Owner Jerry Jones was questioned about Prescott’s time wasting after the game.
“Well, that worries me,” Jones said. ‘It worried me when I saw the play, when I saw he had a reaction and any weaknesses he might have had there. We just have to take a look at that.
‘I’ll be very honest with you, we have to give Rush a little positive here, not a little. He got there and I’m proud of him. “I thought he played well.”
