Daisy said, ‘Well, I have a feeling he’s not going to answer me, so maybe it’s a bit of a relief that it’s not just him, that it’s not personal.’

This comes after Daisy revealed her sweet relationship with her close friend and co-star Paul.
The duo have been treating fans to snippets of their adorable friendship since they met on the set of Normal People in 2019.
Now, in a new interview with VarietyThe actress revealed that she considers the Gladiators II star to be one of her “best friends for life.”
She told the publication: “He’s an incredibly down-to-earth person and I am too, I think, so it’s nice to be able to have those role models and those people you can laugh with and be light-hearted with.”
‘We met when I was 20 and Paul was 22, and I’m really excited to see where we’ll be at 32, 42 and what life will bring.’
The actress rose to fame in 2020 in just 12 episodes when BBC Three’s adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel hit screens.
Starring alongside Paul, Normal People followed Daisy’s character, Marianne Sheridan, and Paul’s character, Connell Waldron, in high school and their relationship during their college years.
But Daisy has now admitted that is where the story ends.
During an interview with Entertainment TonightThe actress was asked about the possibility of a follow-up series, but she replied: ‘No, there is no second season that I know of!’
However, if it were up to Daisy, she would watch Marianne and Connell again, and say, “It was really special. I love those characters and that world. I would love to go back and see where they are ten years later.”
