A dad-of-three has shared a clever Ziploc bag hack that could help him save money by making each box last twice as long.
Dustin Hadley, also known by his username that40yearguy, shared the little-known tip on his popular TikTok channel, which is dedicated to generating clever ideas to make his fans’ lives a little easier.
Hadley, who has four million followers, demonstrated how people can cut a Ziploc bag in two using a sharp knife heated over an open flame.
The heat ensures that the edges are sealed properly, giving you two smaller bags for the price of one.
“Make your own snack-sized bags for kids or smaller portions,” the video title adds.
The hack shared on TikTok by online personality Dustin Hadley, also known by his username that40yearguy, revolutionizes the way you can use your Ziploc bags.
The trick means that a box of Ziploc bags will last longer at no extra cost and work well for storing small portions.
