Crystal Palace have beaten Tottenham in signing highly regarded Derby winger Malcolm Ebiowei.
The Selhurst Park club is now focused on closing a deal for Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure.
Ebiowei, 18, is widely regarded as one of the leading young talents of English football and has caught the attention of England and beyond this summer.

But the Eagles have completed a major coup by striking a deal to sign the teen, who will complete his move to Selhurst Park today.
Manchester United had been strongly linked with a transfer for Ebiowei, but although Old Trafford expressed interest in the youngster, who has represented England and the Netherlands at junior level, it is believed they have not fully pursued a transfer.
The Spurs were indeed Palace’s main rivals for the player who made 15 appearances for Derby last season. The French club Monaco was also interested.
