The final result will not have helped Muñoz justify his decision to change, after the Norwegian player took off his shirt first.
One fan wrote: ‘Yeah, I don’t like that at all. He will probably be behind Foden full-time.
Another added: “Seeing as Muñoz was signed less than three months ago from Genk, it’s not a good first impression for the full-back.”
Two others were only interested in an Irishman’s opinion on the move, with one asking: “I just want to know what Roy Keane thinks about this.” and a fourth adds: “Roy Keane won’t like that.”
One questioned why he couldn’t wait full time and called Muñoz a “washed up player,” while another asked “Why couldn’t they do it in the tunnel?”
Fans on social media were quick to criticize Muñoz for the shirt exchange with Haaland at half-time.
When asked about the incident, Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner replied: “I don’t care.”
