Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish has confirmed that Roy Hodgson has had the opportunity to extend his stay at Selhurst Park.
Hodgson, who was appointed to the club in South London in September 2017, no longer has a contract in the summer.
However, Parish is convinced that the 72-year-old will extend his stay at the club with both parties relaxed about the situation.

Parish speaks in an interview with Palace TV said about Hodgson: ‘Yes, we made an offer to Roy and we talk to him about it.
‘I think everyone is pretty focused on the games, but yes, that is in discussion and for Roy he himself said in the press that he is very relaxed about it.
“We are very relaxed about it, I think, and we will do so in the fullness of time.”
Palace, which is 14th in the Premier League, hosts Newcastle on Saturday after their winter break.
