- Southampton took an early 1-0 lead thanks to Tyler Dibling in the 15th minute.
- Crystal Palace hit back with goals either side of half-time to win 2-1 at home.

Tyler Dibling scored the first goal of the Ivan Juric era, but it was not enough to earn his first victory as Southampton manager.
Dibling was sacked for the Boxing Day defeat to West Ham and Juric said the teenager looked tired.
But it was full of beans to give bottom side Saints a dream start at Selhurst Park.
The only problem was that it didn’t last, and Trevoh Chalobah headed home a controversial equalizer.
Eberechi Eze then scored after half-time as the Saints failed to properly clear their lines.
All of this meant that Palace left a gap between themselves and the bottom three, while the visitors remain bottom and seemingly doomed.
Eberechi Eze scored the winning goal as Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Southampton.
Ivan Juric is yet to score a point as Southampton manager since joining on December 21.
The Saints occupy last place in the Premier League table with six points, nine from safety
The Saints deserved their lead when Dibling put them ahead in anger after good work from Kyle Walker-Peters and Adam Armstrong.
But the visitors had a problem in the corners, with Jean-Philippe Mateta parked in front of Aaron Ramsdale.
And when Will Hughes intervened on the half-hour mark, the pair fought and Chalobah rose higher to return home.
It certainly looked like Ramsdale had reason to say Mateta stopped him, but on review VAR Graham Scott disagreed and allowed the goal.
Ramsdale quickly made a great save from Sarr and then saved a Jefferson Lerma shot over the top from another Hughes corner.
But Southampton held on until half-time, when Juric was the first to walk down the tunnel with a face like thunder.
There was renewed enthusiasm after the break, when a well-worked free-kick routine nearly caught Palace by surprise and drew vigorous applause from Juric.
But Eze struck like a bolt from the blue after Saints once again failed to clear properly, smashing their side from outside the box.
Tyler Dibling scored his second goal of the season, but it wasn’t enough to secure the spoils.
Trevoh Chalobah (right) brought Palace level before Eze’s second-half winner
It was a much-needed victory for Oliver Glasner as his Palace team moved away from the bottom three.
Matheus Fernandes broke free at the other end before forcing Dean Henderson to fire his shot over the bar.
But soon after Eze had a free kick narrowly deflected by a stray boot on the wall.
And even though Juric cleared his bench, his team couldn’t find a way back. Have you bitten off more than you can chew?
