A mother-of-six has admitted having sex with her ex-boyfriend’s dogs while he filmed the vile act.

Crystal Hoare and Jay Veenstra plead guilty to three counts of bestiality each as they face Mackay District Court on Wednesday, Courier Mail Reports.

The court heard Hoare had sex with Veenstra’s two dogs on three occasions in October 2021, June 2022 and October 2022, at a house in Sarina, south of Mackay in Queensland.

Police were alerted to the events when they found a text message from Veenstra to Hoare that said: “Don’t worry, no one will see my dog fucking you,” during an unrelated matter.

Following investigations, police found images of the perverted acts taken by Veenstra, who when questioned by police said he did not know that having sex with a dog was illegal.

Hoare’s defense lawyer told the court his client had faced “quite a traumatic upbringing” and that he should be shown some form of leniency.

He revealed that she had been taking medication to treat post-traumatic stress disorder and had been admitted to several mental health facilities over the past year.

Veenstra’s defense argued that he should only face a fine and not probation as he played a minor role in the offence, something Judge Terry Gardiner did not accept.

“He participated in videotaping it,” Judge Gardiner told the court, adding that Veenstra “doesn’t seem to realize how wrong (the bestiality) is.”

It concluded by finding that Veenstra was an “active participant in filming the activity.”

The former couple was placed on two years of probation. However, Veenstra avoided a sentence, while Hoare received one due to her past crimes.
