The dogs that will be competing for glory showed their best paws again this morning when they arrived at the NEC in Birmingham in more glamorous outerwear.
The pampered pooches, who will compete on the penultimate day of the annual international dog show, were pictured entering the arena in brightly colored coats once again, as this year’s competition takes place in unusually cold temperatures.
While some contestants sported block colours, others opted for patterned overlays, with one particularly patriotic dog sporting a Union Jack print on its coat.
The dogs, who arrived on leashes with their loving owners, will compete in a series of events today before the competition comes to a close tomorrow.
Crufts, which has been held since 1891 and is currently organized by The Kennel Club, is considered the most prestigious dog competition in the world. Here, FEMAIL takes a look at some of the highlights from the third day of the competition…
As the third day of Crufts 2023 progresses, the pampered pooches have gone to great lengths to arrive at the NEC in Birmingham in fancy coats and hats. This long-haired dog was accessorized with a knitted headpiece complete with tassels and metallic thread.

Traveling in style! These adorable little terriers arrived side by side as their owner pushed them in a stroller.


Bring out my good side! This glamorous pooch was photographed arriving at the NEC wearing a lime green raincoat with a fleece collar.

There may only be two of these Dalmatians compared to the well-known 101, but they certainly impressed with their floral and plaid coats and brightly colored harnesses.


This poodle stole the show in her floral coat with blue, pink and fuchsia colors, plus a diamond necklace.

Patriotic pup! This greyhound was photographed entering the NEC with his owner, while sporting a Union Jack coat.

Seeing double! It’s hard to tell which of these dogs is which, as they wear identical coats.

Orange, are you glad to see me? This handsome dog seemed intent as he arrived at the NEC wearing an orange raincoat.

These well-groomed dogs wore hats and leg warmers to protect their shiny coats from the outdoor elements.


Another glam dog showed off a sparkly knitted headdress while waiting to enter the NEC.

This adorable little terrier kept himself warm in a snug, almost festive-looking red fleece as he strolled

All the stars! A group of greyhounds arrived in matching outfits representing his team and they looked fabulous in blue.

This dog’s owner was photographed carrying many bags to the NEC to prepare for the third day of the show.

These striking canines were brought to the Birmingham NEC by their owners, and they almost looked as big as the arriving humans.

Leopard Print Chic: This dog arrived at the NEC wearing leopard print leg warmers that protected her feet, while the fur on her hind legs was braided.


They have come prepared! These dogs arrived on day three of Crufts with carrier bags attached to store his key items.

Three of a kind! These sweet looking greyhounds arrived for a day of tough competition wearing matching yellow and navy coats.

80’s glamour! This terrier arrived at the NEC wearing a multi-colored fleece that harkens back to an earlier time.

This Schnauzer wore a drawstring blue waterproof jacket for protection against the elements upon arrival.

Only one of these hounds needed a coat to brave the low temperatures while the other went without it.

Dogs in papooses! These puppies managed to stay warm by being well wrapped and carried by their owners.

Well bundled up, these two dogs walked on either side of their owner and wore raincoats, one red and one blue.
