Crude ‘ratings’ of girls displayed near lockers at Balwyn High School

Shocking photos have exposed a sexually explicit “grading system” given to young girls in a difficult high school, with the humiliating full-screen graphs of students in the hallway.

Melbourne’s Balwyn High School has been accused of tolerating a toxic environment where 13-year-old girls were harassed with d***pic texts, boys allegedly openly masturbating in class and making lists of girls based on their appearance .

Now pictures have surfaced of the explicit assessments that were daubed by the girls’ lockers and left in plain sight of the entire student body.

Photos have surfaced of the obscene graffiti posted near the girls’ lockers at a Melbourne high school, which have been increasingly accused of allowing a ‘toxic’ environment.

A photo shows a grid of numbers for c**k, a**, t*ts, pubes – and personality.

Another is a combined arrangement of the schoolgirls’ buttocks, breasts and face.

Commenting on the photos, Victoria’s Education Department said “Balwyn High School is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all students and is acting promptly to address allegations or incidents of bullying or harassment.”

The school’s policy is to regularly check school property and remove graffiti.

Last week, it was revealed that a 13-year-old girl, then in 8th grade, had been sent text messages harassing her with the threat of unsolicited sex photos organized by one of her classmates, who was given just a week’s ban.

Earlier this month, allegations were made public that boys masturbated in class in front of girls and sometimes threatened girls with rape as a ‘joke’.

The school responded to claims, made in an anonymous 2021 survey, that the issues had been handled “appropriately and professionally”.

However, a father with two children at school, who declined to be named, told the Daily Mail Australia that little had changed in the past year.

He dismissed the high school’s claims that it has addressed serious sexual misconduct and said the toxic culture continues as only “symbolic” punishments are handed out.

The father said that despite Victoria’s education department claiming two weeks ago that it had handled the issues “appropriately and professionally”, sexual misconduct was still rife at the school.

“It’s a very toxic environment that is very, very widespread,” he told the Daily Mail Australia.

“I don’t think I’ve met a single friend of my daughter’s who doesn’t have similar stories.”

He said his daughter is constantly bombarded with scary posts on social media, with one teenager being particularly persistent.

The father said his daughter was mercilessly harassed and bullied when she was in grades 7 and 8, with boys calling her insulting names such as “sl*t,” “wh**e” and “b**ch.”

He claimed the behavior went beyond the playground, with boys “crawling on the floor” during class while yelling and making obscene gestures at his daughter in full view of teachers, who he says did nothing.

In 2019, his daughter, who was 13 at the time, had to block an anonymous account from sending her unsolicited d**k photos, which was the culmination of harassment she received from one particular boy.

The daughter told Daily Mail Australia that she confronted her classmate about the message, who admitted to organizing it because “he thought it was very funny”.

When she complained to the school’s student support team, she said she was accused by the wider student body of being a “snitch”.

“Most male students commented on that,” she says.

Her father described the angry reaction of the classmates as “retaliation” and said the reaction of the “crowd” was one reason bad behavior in school was normalized.

The father said he repeatedly raised the matter with the school before finally being met with staff, who handed him a handwritten apology from the boy involved.

‘(The teacher) said: ‘He is very repentant, he is very sorry,’ said the father.

“Literally as I was walking out of the office, my daughter messages me on Instagram bragging about what he was doing.”

The boy was only banned for a week.

Under Victorian law, it is an offense to use a carriage service in a “threatening, harassing or abusive” manner.

Victoria’s education department said the matter had been handled “appropriately”.

“The health and safety of our students is a top priority for all schools and all allegations regarding student welfare are taken seriously and handled appropriately,” a department spokesperson said.

“The department is aware of an incident involving Balwyn High School students in 2019. At the time, appropriate disciplinary action was taken to address student behavior and welfare support was made available.”

The father escalated his complaints to Victoria’s education department, but he said he only got a “symbolic” response.

Informally, he was told that two detectives spoke to the boy.

“I just don’t understand how we find this acceptable in a government school.

“The evidence suggests that the education programs are not doing anything.

“When I went to school, any of those behaviors would have seen me in the principal’s office.

“The second time it would be a suspension and the third time I would have been expelled from school.

“They just have to expel a few.

“Make it very public that their behavior will not be tolerated and the problem will go away.”
