Hundreds of people have criticised a mother’s family fridge and questioned two items stored inside the kitchen appliance.

She, from Queensland, searched online for organizing tips and asked what affordable products she should buy to better organize her shelves.

“Show me how you organize your fridge. I’m really curious to see the ones that use the plastic decanters. I want to try them but I’m lacking inspiration,” she wrote alongside a picture.

But he got more than he bargained for as some questioned why he put the bread in the refrigerator instead of the cupboard.

One chef also warned that meat products should not be stored on top of fresh produce because they can leak and contaminate the food.

“May I recommend that you store meat on the bottom shelf instead of vegetables? I’m a chef and it can be dangerous if it leaks into your fresh produce,” she wrote.

The refrigerator itself looked tidy and was stocked with fruits, vegetables, eggs, chicken, yogurt and other grocery items.

A debate also began about where the bread should be stored.

Ella, a mother from Queensland, shared a photo of the inside of her fridge (pictured), but many pointed out two problems: how meat is on top of fresh produce and bread is stored in the appliance, not the cupboard.

“Bread should not be stored in the refrigerator,” said one.

But others disagreed, saying that food only goes mouldy after two days if it is kept in a humid environment.

“I guess you don’t live in Queensland, we don’t last long on the bench,” said another person.

“Humidity and heat cause bread to go moldy very quickly,” wrote another.

Another added: “I’m on the NSW Central Coast and in the summer our bread has to live in the fridge otherwise it goes mouldy within two days. In the colder months it lives on the counter. Store bought bread.”

Last year, the mother of Australia’s largest family shared a photo of her fridge after organizing it, but fans can’t get over the fact that she keeps her peanut butter in the fridge instead of the cupboard.

Jeni Bonell and her husband Ray, from Queensland, have a huge family of nine sons and seven daughters.

The mom shared a photo of her refrigerator and wrote on Facebook: “I’m organizing the refrigerator today.”

She continued: ‘Refrigerators don’t need to be pretty (although they are fun to look at and aesthetically pleasing, no doubt).

‘Remember, they should only be clean and functional. Their purpose is to store food, not to be Instagram-perfect.

‘Just clean it periodically, monitor the temperature dial, store food properly and keep the door tightly sealed.’
