Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly received a two-match suspension after making an X-rated gesture to anger Al Shabab supporters over the weekend.
The 39-year-old became upset with rival fans in Al Nassr’s 3-2 victory over Al Shabab on Sunday, in which he opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
The home fans at the team’s stadium in Riyadh tried to unnerve Ronaldo by chanting the name of his rival Lionel Messi throughout the match and evidently irritated the Portuguese.
Al Nassr achieved a valuable victory in the Saudi Pro League with a penalty from Ronaldo complemented by a double from Brazilian striker Talisca, who won the game in the 86th minute.
Ronaldo walked away from the team’s celebrations as the final whistle blew and put his hand to his ear before gesturing towards his crotch with the signal apparently directed at the fans present.

His actions sparked criticism and the Saudi Pro League’s disciplinary body later opened an investigation into Ronaldo’s behaviour.
The Manchester United and Real Madrid legend has now been punished for his actions and will miss Al Nassr’s next two matches as well as receiving a fine, according to reports Media in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo will not be available for his team’s league clash against Al-Hazm on Thursday and could also be ruled out for Al Nassr’s Asian Champions League quarter-final clash.

The fine of an undisclosed amount is unlikely to bother the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, who is paid £175m a year by Saudi Arabia’s top-flight team.
In his second season playing in the Middle East, the Portuguese star has maintained his prolific record in front of goal and currently sits first in the league’s scoring charts.
Sunday’s penalty brought his tally for the season to 22 in 20 appearances.
However, Al-Nassr remains four points behind unbeaten Al-Hilal in the league standings.
