Cristiano Ronaldo’s 30th birthday certainly made a lot of noise.
Very literally, while the Portuguese star, then in Real Madrid, was filmed with karaoke songs for 150 guests in the exclusive ‘In Zalacain’ location in the chic La Finca district of the Spanish capital.
And also in the cry of protest from angry Real fans, who had seen their team 4-0 earlier that afternoon by rivals Atletico.

Fast forward to the present and the man who is considered by many to be the world’s largest, marked his 35th birthday on February 5 with a training session, a nap and probably a plate of avocado on toast.
Ronaldo shared an Instagram video of himself shooting in a slalom of obstacles on Juventus training ground. It was just another day at the office.
There is no doubt that Ronaldo is in the twilight of his monumental career, but the dedication to his art and to be the best he can ever be remains as strong as ever.
All you have to do is look at Ronaldo’s songs over the past five years to understand that he was just starting out at the time of his karaoke party.
For his 30th birthday, Ronaldo had scored 52 goals in 118 games for his country Portugal. Since then, his incredible return has been 47 goals in 46 internationals, inspiring Portugal to glory in the 2016 European Championship and also the inaugural UEFA Nations League last year.

Prior to his 30th birthday on February 5, 2015, Ronaldo had scored 72 goals in 109 Champions League games for Manchester United and Real Madrid.
He has since scored 56 times in the competition in 59 games for Real and Juventus, lifting the trophy three times.
From his birthday to the end of the 2014-15 season, he scored 29 times for his club. Since then, season-by-season returns 51, 42, 44, 28 and then 24 have been this campaign to date.
He delivered a losing cause for Juventus three days after his 35th birthday and last week passed a late penalty against AC Milan in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.
So in the 13 years since he made his Sporting Lisbon debut from 17 to 30 years, Ronaldo scored a total of 360 club goals and 52 international.
In just five years since then, he has managed to add another 265 goals for club and country. It is just a phenomenal resistance to the effects of time on body and mind.
Of course Ronaldo’s obsession with fitness and fitness is legendary. In January he posted an Instagram photo of his grated physique while lifting weights in the gym.
But there are several other secrets to its constant brilliance. Ronaldo eats little and often – six meals a day every 3-4 hours – in contrast to the usual three square meals.
This is designed to fit into the training work he does throughout the day and supports the fast metabolism that athletes have.
Ronaldo is strict in what he eats and eats small meals several times a day
Ronaldo also eats a lot of fish, but avoids red meat or something frozen food
Ronaldo not only ensures that he eats all the right foods, but sleeps throughout the day
The book that Ronaldo has followed to revolutionize his sleep pattern
His diet ensures an ultra-low-fat, high muscle body type. With the help of a specialized nutritionist, he eats whole grains, fresh fruit and lean proteins in fish such as swordfish, sea bass, bream and cod.
Ronaldo eats few meals without salad and for breakfast he eats cheese, ham, low-fat yogurt, fruit and avocado on toast.
Like most footballers, chicken, which is high in protein and low in fat, is a regular part of its diet. Red meat and frozen products are prohibited, everything is cooked fresh.
When it comes to sleeping, Ronaldo endorses a theory of top sports coach professor Nick Littlehales.
He believes that it is optimal for athletes to have five small, 90-minute residues throughout the day instead of eight solid hours.
And Ronaldo follows this pattern religiously, even during his vacation.
All this contributes to a remarkably long lifespan, but when Ronaldo passes his 35th birthday, he has no intention of stopping.
In the international arena, Ronaldo is just one goal away from a century before Portugal and he hopes to reach that milestone during the friendly matches in March.

Ronaldo has already scored 24 club goals this season while Juventus is chasing more silverware
And with a view to the European Championship this summer, where Portugal is placed in a classic ‘Group of Death’ with France and Germany, he wants to record the 109 goals of Iran’s Ali Daei as the world’s leading international scorer.
In the Champions League, Ronaldo will try to increase his lead over Lionel Messi (128 to 114) in terms of goals in the competition.
He would also like to lift the European Cup in the colors of a third club with Juventus at the end of the season. They are set to play Lyon in the last-16 later this month.
One thing is certain: Ronaldo shows no signs of wear at the age of 35. And no signs of delay.
