‘Hot Felon’ Jeremy Meeks built a career for himself after his famous mugshot went viral for his chiseled handsome appearance.
Now there is an entire Instagram and Twitter account entitled “Mugshawtys” that is dedicated to documenting attractive criminals with nearly 200,000 followers.
The page places mugshots of female offenders with a model-like appearance with skillfully applied makeup, posing with perfect pout or, in some cases, smiling.
Some women on the page have been arrested for possession of marijuana, DUI and criminal offenses.

The account is managed by 24-year-old electrician Josh Jeffrey in California, who says his page is largely based on submission.
“Many people send me their own mugshots – I probably get 15 to 20 plus [direct messages] a day with different ones, “he told the New York Post. “Many of what I post are entries.”
Every day Jeffrey posts a mugshot and the corresponding indictment.
Hilarious responses to the photos include messages such as “I’m going to save her,” “she stole my heart,” “free her now !!” and “she’s a sweetheart let her go.”
Although the page is light-hearted, Jeffrey says that if someone finds his photo on the website and asks for it to be deleted, he will always stick to it.
“If there is someone who doesn’t want their photo there, I’ll take it away without asking questions,” he said. “I don’t post information there like the [women] don’t want it ‘.

But Jeffrey has quite a few haters.
‘Hot Felon’ Jeremy Meeks started a trend when he became famous in 2014 after his mugshot was posted on Facebook by the Stockton Police Department
“I always get random people who say,” “Oh, this isn’t right. “I can see where they come from,” he said.
He added that he does not make money by running “Mugshawtys” and he has even looked at charities that could benefit people in the criminal justice system if that were ever the case.
Jeffrey says that after viewing the page since 2016, he has become critical of the American criminal justice system.
“Our system is a joke,” pointing out how he often accuses women of crimes for minor offenses.
He says he regularly sees women who have been arrested for marijuana.
“I think the US is the only country where there is a public mugshot database,” he said. “I also posted a number of international mugshots, but that person sent me all.”
His piercing blue eyes and full lips attracted thousands of likes and reactions and saw him walk out of jail and hit the road during New York Fashion Week.
