The Sydney socialite has been toning up since vowing to maintain the 5kg of muscle she gained for fighting fitness in her SAS Australia stint.

Her personal trainer, women’s strength coach Annabelle Owen, recently shared the secret behind Candice’s incredible figure.

“Candice doesn’t have a strength athletic background,” Annabelle told Daily Mail Australia.

“She’s mainly a runner and a surfer, so I was pretty impressed from day one, because I didn’t expect her to be that strong.”

After “several months” of consistent training, Annabelle said Candice is hitting 130 pounds on her squats.

‘As a busy working mother, like many of my clients, we keep their sessions super structured. They’re no longer than 45 minutes, so we keep it efficient.’

Candice will train three times a week, she said, doing a legs/lower body session on Mondays, an arms/upper body session on Tuesdays, followed by a rest day and then a general body workout on Thursdays: ‘So we’re doing everything (in the body) twice a week.’

The reason Candice sought out a strength coach, Annabelle says, “was mainly to have structure with her routine and training.”

‘Like most people, having a coach and something to show up to makes it easier to be consistent with showings.

“It was also moving away from her usual training and what she was used to as an athlete, to focus more on getting strong.”

As a workout example, the trainer added that she often starts with a compound moment, whether it’s a squat, bench press, or deadlift, and then moves on to more isolated movements that could target Candice’s hamstrings, quads, triceps, and biceps. .

“We usually start with a larger movement first and then work our way up to smaller areas for individual muscle groups,” says Annabelle.
