Speaking on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren this week, the 53-year-old left-handed batsman spoke about the “old golden days” of the Australian cricket team and Shane’s antics.

It was no secret that Shane smoked a lot.

Considered one of the greatest bowlers of all time, he smoked throughout his 22-year international cricket career.

“I was very disappointed to have it and I hope I can continue trying to kick the habit.” It has been much more difficult than I thought.

But unfortunately, Shane was unable to quit smoking and continued to be seen smoking for the next few years.

In 2011, Shane risked another fine for smoking on the premises of the airport in Indore, India, the Times Of India reported.

While dating Elizabeth Hurley in 2013, the ladies’ man was photographed smoking at the prestigious Ascot racecourse.

The photos later went viral when the cricketer wrapped his mouth around a glass of beer.
