MANILA, Philippines – The second All-Filipino Conference of this year’s Premier Volleyball League opens with a main event featuring two very well-known teams.
Star teams Creamline and Choco Mucho will headline the PVL’s conference opener in a star-studded triple-header affair on October 15 at Araneta Coliseum.
The Cool Smashers and the Flying Titans try to renew their rivalry with various complications.
First, Creamline will play without star setter Jia De Guzman, who recently signed with the Denson Airybees in Japan’s V.League.
Choco Mucho, meanwhile, was all about off-season improvement as they competed in the 2023 VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup a few months ago with the core of Sisi Rondina, Kat Tolentino, Maddie Madayag, Des Cheng, Isa Molde, Bea de Leon and Aduka Ogunsanya.
NxLED vs. Gerlfor
The young teams Nxled and Gerflor will open the matches at 3 p.m.
Nxled, one of two new teams in the competition, will compete against a relatively new team Gerflor, which made its debut in the Invitational Conference, with its core Camille Kal, Lycha Ebon, Chiara Permentilla, Jhoana Maraguinot and the middle Camille Victoria and Krich. Maca lettuce.

The format for the upcoming conference will follow a single round robin elimination, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals. The top and second seeds will face the third and fourth seeds respectively in a best-of-three series. The winners compete for the championship in a best-of-three play-off.
