A crane has thrown a concrete bathtub into a well, leaving three people injured, one seriously.
The terrible accident happened at a construction site on Whitehorse Road, Box Hill, in east Melbourne, shortly after 12 pm on Thursday.
It is believed that a broken crane cable caused the concrete load to collapse in the well where the men worked.
One of the wounded men remains trapped, while two others have been removed, reported 3AW.
Of the two men released from the well, one is in critical condition and the other suffered minor injuries.
