Craig David surprised Notting Hill Carnival-goers with an unexpected street performance on Sunday.
The event takes place every year over the August bank holiday weekend and the 43-year-old garage star delighted everyone who came along for the day.
In a video he shared on Instagram, the singer took the microphone to perform his classic 2000 hit 7 Days.
David captioned the post: “When 7 Days meets Taxi Riddim. As soon as I heard that sound system, my inner child took over and at that moment I knew exactly what the assignment was.”
He was first seen walking down the street when he noticed a small stand with a microphone and headed over to start singing.

Soon a small crowd gathered around him as people began to realise it was a famous face singing and many began recording it on video.
Fans were quick to express their shock at the impromptu performance, writing beneath his post: “Bro if I see Craig vibing like that on the street… what the hell?”

This comes after Craig revealed earlier this summer that he has been celibate for two years and stepped away from intimacy to “heal his own issues.”
The singer said the break from sexual activity has brought him “good vibes” as he has managed to avoid a lot of “drama” over the past 48 months.
He also admitted that without the distraction of intimacy, his creative sparks have been electrifying his output in the studio.
“It’s been really good for me because, man, studio music, creativity, it’s like, no drama, just vibes!” he said. The TMZ Podcast .
“I know it’s been two years since I’ve had sex, but oddly enough, as much as I was saying ‘Wow!’ at the time, my creativity has been at its peak for those two years.”

He revealed that he had become celibate in June 2023 after previously flaunting his sex life in the hit 2000 single 7 Days.
Craig, who was known for his womanizing behavior, confessed that he is a changed man and is not currently dating anyone.
The singing sensation, who boasted of “making love on Wednesday, and then Thursday, and Friday and Saturday” in her hit single, revealed she has not had a sexual affair for “maybe a year or more.”
Talking to Louis Theroux about His podcast, The British composer said one-night stands can lead to “many different traumas.”
The Rise And Fall singer admitted he hoped the sex break would allow him to mentally prepare for meeting his next girlfriend as he wants to start a relationship from “a good place”.
He said The Louis Theroux Podcast:I realized that by not having healed my own issues, I would never be in a position to open up to another person.
‘Then I realized I had to take a step back from all this and that’s really been the case for the last few years.
“Which means that, in reality, there is no need to date, sexual interactions have to stop now, they have to be cut off.”
