Covid scares Western Australia as two NSW truck drivers test positive after arriving in Perth

Two truck drivers have tested positive for Covid after arriving in Perth from New South Wales.

The men, ages 23 and 29, traveled via Victoria and South Australia, visiting various locations along the way and in Western Australia.

Prime Minister Mark McGowan said the pair had been tested before leaving NSW on Wednesday, as part of routine screening for freight drivers, ABC news reported.

Both received one dose of the Pfizer vaccine and had worn masks while outside their truck.
