Two of Australia’s largest companies have announced they will need their 75,000 employees to get a mandatory Covid vaccine.

Westpac and Commonwealth Bank are demanding that employees who plan to return to their workplace be fully vaccinated against the virus.

The mandate covers approximately 75,000 employees across the country, including thousands who currently work at two lenders in Sydney’s CBD.

More to come.
