The cousin of a missing woman has revealed that he called off his search for her after it left him with constant nightmares, paranoia and panic attacks.
Jessica Boyce, 27, disappeared on March 19 and the ute she was driving was later found by walkers, unlocked with the windows down, along with her phone and wallet at Lake Chalice on the South Island of New Zealand.
Her cousin Aaron Goodwin was very close with Ms. Boyce when she grew up and has been at the forefront of her search since the beginning, but her disappearance has taken a huge toll.

& # 39; I don't hear anything anymore … it's too disgusting, I can't handle it anymore. I can't talk about it anymore, it ruined my life, & said Mr. Goodwin stuff.
& # 39; The tips that came through are creepy and extremely graphic. It's hard to tell whether people are spreading rumors or sometimes really trying to help, & he said.
Mr. Goodwin joined the police in a flyover search, but no evidence was found except the ute, despite another search at the beginning of June.
& # 39; I have become hyper-conscious and paranoid about where other female members of my family have been all the time, because I now know firsthand that these things can really happen to anyone & # 39 ;, he said.
