Courtney Stodden is a married woman again, 13 years after her ‘child bride’ wedding to Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison.
The model, 30, married her fiancé Jared Safier, 41, in a “last-minute” ceremony at the Monte Vista House in Palm Springs on Tuesday, according to Us weekly.
It was an intimate event attended by only 20 guests.
Courtney walked down the aisle in a vintage wedding dress with a plunging neckline and modest train that cost $60,000. She wore a long tulle veil with elegant lace trim.
For a sentimental touch, her father Alex Stodden gave her the wedding ring he gave her mother Krista Keller when they got married. Alex and Krista are no longer together.
Courtney began dating the Emmy-winning television producer in the summer of 2023 after meeting on the set of a film project and they became engaged in June 2024.

She told the outlet that she and Jared felt like now was the “perfect time” to get married since their families were in Los Angeles for the Thanksgiving holiday.
‘We were planning to get married and we didn’t have a date. We just look at each other and we’re equally crazy. We looked at each other and thought, ‘This is the perfect time to do it,'” he explained.
They started planning the wedding three weeks ago amid the stress of buying their first home and the holiday season.
“It’s the holidays, it’s already stressful and we just bought a house together, so we’re dealing with that,” Courtney said. ‘Our family said: “Are they crazy?” and we say: “Yes!” “I just felt like it was the right time.”
After exchanging their vows, Courtney and Jared treated their guests to vegan food at the reception.
Getting married at the last minute seemed natural to Courtney, who describes herself as a “free spirit.”
“I’m really a free spirit and I’ve always been that way and I don’t think that’s going to go away after marriage, so I felt like the time was right and everything worked out.” ‘ she said.
Courtney said she’s “excited” to be getting married again and said Jared “brightens up” her life.

‘I feel excited. I feel like I’m on a journey to where I’m supposed to be. Everything that has happened so far has brought me here.’
Jared also spoke to the outlet on Tuesday. He called Courtney his “best friend” and said he was very “excited” to marry her in front of all his loved ones.
‘I feel great. I will marry my best friend and the love of my life and I will do it in front of her family and my family, very excited,” the CEO of Safier Entertainment gushed.
Courtney reflected on the first time she met Jared and his reaction when she warned him not to “fall in love” with her.
“He looked at me like I was crazy and said, ‘What? Don’t fall in love with me in a business meeting?!” But I felt like, if this guy falls in love with me, I’m like, you know, I’m done because I felt this calling to him, and our first kiss, it almost felt like if it were ours. Kiss number 80, the first for me,” he recalled.
‘It’s something I’d never experienced before and I felt like it was an unspoken feeling. I felt like this is right where I need to be. It’s strange, but I felt like I was supposed to be with him, and I was supposed to be with him, and everything is working effortlessly and chaotically.’
Courtney briefly spoke to Us Weekly about her infamous age-gap marriage to Doug Hutchison, which ended in 2020.
She was just 16 when she married Hutchison, who was 51 at the time, in a Las Vegas wedding chapel in 2011.
Because she was a minor, Courtney’s parents had to approve the union.

Courtney and Jared felt that now was the “perfect time” to get married since their families were in Los Angeles for the Thanksgiving holiday.
“I want to be happy and I think the marriage I went through in Vegas was so fast that I couldn’t process it because I was 16,” Courtney explained.
‘So this is very important to me, to finally have the option to get married. A parent does not need to approve this.
She emphasized: “This is completely my decision.”
Courtney said she’s hoping for a “happy ending” this time.
“I think it’s natural for me, because of my history, to be nervous about this because I really want my happy ending. I want it to be that way, and it’s stressful because there’s been a lot of PTSD cases going around and a lot of different things, but I know I’m getting married to a really amazing man and I’m hopeful, so I’m feeling all the feels…
“I just know that my gut tells me that this is where I belong right now, and I’m going to move forward,” the model concluded.
Courtney and Jared’s wedding comes six months after he proposed to her with a 5-carat radiant cut VVS ring at the famed Beverly Wilshire Hotel, reports TMZ.

Courtney said she felt sorry in “every sense of the word.” She continued: ‘Although, I suppose, early is better than late… it’s still a loss and I can’t shake the feeling of loneliness that accompanies it.
“I’m sharing this to shed light on the fact that no matter how early a loss occurs, it’s still a loss.”
She said she tried to keep this to herself, as only a few close family members and friends know, but she felt that by sharing her story it could help others.
‘I thought it was important to just accept the fact and hopefully find some peace as there is strength in numbers.
‘If this has happened to you or ever happens to you, it is not your fault. God bless you all and count your blessings. We are all love’
