Courtney Love looks chic in a red chiffon dress while attending Vivienne Westwood’s LFW event … after revealing that she has been sober for 18 months
The former party girl announced that she had been sober for 18 months earlier this week at the NME Awards.
And Courtney Love looked chic when she attended the Vivienne Westwood show at The Serpentine Gallery during London Fashion Week on Friday.
Wearing a red chiffon dress with a square neck by the legendary designer, the singer, 55, looked modest yet punk as she went around with Vivienne herself, 78, and her husband Andreas Kronthaler, 54.

With a pair of satin curved heels, a tartan clutch and diamonds and emerald-green jewelery, Courtney looked polished when she made her first outing since winning honors at the NME awards on Wednesday.
“I also have 18 months sober today,” said the 55-year-old singer-songwriter when she accepted the Icon Award at the London O2 Academy Brixton.
“I thought that was so … I can’t believe it! And that – that’s pretty wild. Anyway, thank you very much, I am very honored, thank you very much. “

The San Francisco resident, who received the distinction from Annie Mac of the BBC, held a genuine acceptance speech at the luxury event.
“Thank you very much, I didn’t prepare a speech, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to be disrespectful,” said Love, who was married to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain from 1992 until his suicide.
