A couple were rushed to hospital with burns after a barbecue exploded in a bunnings sausage over Easter weekend.
It is understood the husband was injured while carrying his wife to safety after flames broke out at Adelaide Bunnings about 12.30pm on Saturday.
The woman was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital with severe burns to her face, while her husband was treated for minor burns.
Footage from the Bunnings car park showed thick smoke billowing from the barbecue as shocked shoppers and staff members ran to safety.
A nearby car was also destroyed by the intense flames.
While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, it is believed to have broken out after a member of staff knocked over a gas bottle.

Ernie, who witnessed the fire, said a woman working behind the barbecue had fainted, fallen and knocked over the gas bottle.
“It fell to the ground and the next minute it went boom,” he said. 9News.
In a statement, Bunnings said members of staff and a customer had used nearby fire extinguishers to contain the fire.
Police will continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
