Couple Reveals Temporary Divorce Left Them With $100,000 In Debt
A California couple has revealed they are locked into paying off their $100,000 divorce, even though they stayed married and renewed their vows.
Brittany Jade, known as @brittanyjade___ on TikTok, has more than two million followers thanks to her candid videos about her relationship with her husband Wyland and their three children.
In a recent video, she explained that she was the one who wanted a divorce, and while Wyland was against it, he filed first. They have since reconnected and are now “married on $100k in debt.”

The viral TikTok has been viewed more than 6.7 million times and the commentators had many questions for them.

Brittany, who has been sober for nearly two years, explained in the comments that their separation was precious because it “wasn’t mutual” and they fought for their children too.

She and her husband had been married for nine years when they separated and filed for divorce for a year and a half.
“I struggled a lot with addiction, so there were restraining orders and a huge custody battle,” she wrote.
Brittany added that their lawyers were “not angry” that they ended up staying married “because they got paid for everything anyway”.
While some people were shocked at the cost, others were happy that they had found their way back to each other and were a family again.
