When their friends Legacy and Kenzie downloaded Bumble BFF to make friends, they never imagined it would change their relationship forever.
The couple, who have been dating for three years, moved from Virginia to North Carolina and joined the platform in an effort to build new relationships.
But Legacy, 26, and Kenzie, 23, soon met Amber, 27, who they described as the “missing piece” in their relationship.
The trio have been living happily as a couple since early 2022 – despite what the haters say.
Amber, 27, Legacy, 26, and Kenzie, 23, have all been dating since early 2022

The three men explained their relationship to curious followers in several videos posted to TikTok.
“Yes, we are all dating,” Legacy said on TikTok, describing their relationship. “They’re not just my girlfriends, they’re each other’s girlfriends, it’s a couple/poly situation.”
The three explained their relationship to curious followers in several videos. In a clip, they revealed how they all met and started dating.
“Kenzie slid into my Twitter DMs (now X),” Legacy explained in a video in response to a question asking how they all met.
Legacy and Kenzie had gone to the same university, but they were a few years apart and only met when they started chatting online.
The couple had been dating for a while when they explored the idea of opening their relationship to a third partner, which took Kenzie some time.
“I was a little surprised at first,” Kenzie admitted in a YouTube video from Love does not judge.
“She had questions,” Legacy added. “Like, is this a lack of something in the relationship?
“I never wanted to feel ‘limited’ in the relationship,” she concluded.

Kenzie and Legacy dated for three years before deciding to open up their relationship – they eventually met Amber on Bumble BFF.

Even though they had no intention of entering into a relationship, they found themselves loving their unique situation.

Their TikToks are filled with comments about the group, some supportive and others berating the women.
When they moved, the couple decided to download Bumble BFF – insisting it was initially out of friendship.
“We were really looking for friends when we met Amber,” Legacy said.
“We literally hung out once and then never stopped hanging out after that… We developed feelings that we didn’t expect,” Kenzie added.
“Amber is really the missing piece of the puzzle, to be honest,” exclaimed Legacy.
But the women are keen to dispel any common misconceptions about being in a relationship, such as that someone is always left out.
“A common comment is people say if you have two girlfriends, one of them has to be the second option,” Legacy said.
The happy three said their families weren’t surprised when they told them they each had two girlfriends, responding to a comment on a TikTok asking what they thought.

After more than a year together, the women are delighted with their relationship and love having two girlfriends each.

Legacy (middle) said she and Kenzie were “genuinely looking for friends” when they met Amber.
‘As one of the mothers!!!! We all knew this before they “came out,” the comment reads. ‘It was like Duh!! LOL… they are all incredible!!!’
“I’m Legacy’s mom and I’m leaning on one of the moms we already knew,” the other mom wrote. “I was just waiting for Le to come and tell us. Love them all!’
The couple added that they are “all on the same page” and also want children one day.
The couple’s unique relationship has received plenty of support online – but also from naysayers, lambasting the women for their choices.
“Aww, this is so healthy,” one user exclaimed. “You are so charming!” »
“AWW THIS IS THE BEST RELATIONSHIP I’VE SEEN,” said another.
Others criticized the women for their unusual relationship.
“Where is GOD in all this,” exclaimed one user. “Sad, just sad.”
“Ngl I have a feeling they won’t last which I mean that’s part of it I don’t hate I just have a feeling,” another wrote.
