TikTok user Chrissy, from Louisville, Kentucky, shared a 42-second video revealing how she and her boyfriend had put their small dog, Harlan, in a harness attached to the ceiling.
The result was that the dog was left suspended in a helpless state several feet above the kitchen counter, with his legs sticking out to facilitate access to his paws.
“My boyfriend calls me into the kitchen and tells me to grab my phone and start recording… I walked in and saw this!” Chrissy wrote in the caption.

In a follow-up video, Chrissy documented the actual process of trimming the pup’s nails.
While Harlan, who is a Pomeranian, Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise mix, attempted to bite his boyfriend’s hands, he was unable to do so or wriggle away during the process.
Lastly, Chrissy shared that she was buying Harlan special treats after “embarrassing” him with the viral video, which racked up nearly seven million likes and more than 52 million views in just a matter of days.
“I needed to make it right with Harlan after embarrassing him. I hope we don’t end up finding shit or piss on our shoes,” she reasoned.
Once Chrissy introduced Harlan to a series of new toys and beef jerky sticks, thankfully all seemed to be forgiven.
