A young couple have been left devastated after a ‘Karen’ spoiled their dream proposal by rearranging their romantic setup and hovering near them while they got engaged.
Zenicca Llanza, 24, from the Philippines, shared a video of her boyfriend taking a knee at the beach.
While her future husband had arranged everything for the perfect photo moment, another bather decided to step in and rearrange the set-up, before interrupting the moment.
In a video shared on TIkTokZenicca and her partner are walking along the beach.
She then sees a tent erected on the beach, with a table, a white tablecloth and dozens of cushions.

On the table is a cake that reads “Will you marry me?” while there is a sign in the background with the same words written on it.
Zenicca’s boyfriend then gets down on his knees to propose.
But while Zenicca listens to his speech, the anonymous woman enters the scene.
She then moves the sign before walking over to the couple to take a look at the ring – before Zenicca even has a chance to wear it.
“How to quickly ruin a proposal,” Zenicca wrote on TikTok.
“Please pay attention to other people’s unique events!” You never know you’re already screwing it up,” she wrote.
