Jason Duggar from TLC’s Counting On popped the question to his girlfriend Maddie and she said yes.
Maddie, who has already gotten a new Instagram account under her future last name, took to the app on Friday to announce the news.
“On August 24th, Jase asked me to marry him and I couldn’t be more excited!” she wrote to her modest followers.
She thanked photographer @kaylajohnsonphoto_ “for capturing this special moment so beautifully” and added the hashtag “spring 2025,” hinting at a wedding date.
Jason, 24, will become the 13th child of TLC stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to tie the knot, following the recent nuptials of his sister Jana Duggar.

Jason and Maddie made their romance Instagram official just three months before their engagement.
The husband-to-be uploaded a carousel of photos showing the couple holding hands on the beach in their white outfits.
The duo appeared on social media once again weeks later, sharing outtakes from their Fourth of July celebration.
Maddie accompanied Jason to his sister Jana’s wedding to Stephen Wissman on August 15.
And she then commented on an online post shared by the new Mrs Wissman, writing: “Congratulations Jana and Stephen.”
He added on behalf of himself and Maddie: “We are so excited for you!”
The photographer who captured Jason’s proposal noted, “These two truly have the sweetest relationship I’ve ever seen.”

The Duggar family’s TLC reality series, 19 Kids and Counting, was canceled in July 2015 after Josh Duggar’s history of sexual abuse surfaced.
