27-year-old woman warns against cosmetic treatments after she was left with ‘rotten’ lips

A young woman shared the embarrassing moment her lips changed after getting a free cosmetic treatment.
Jessica Porco, of Los Angeles, has had cosmetic procedures and enhancements many times before and is open about this online.
But on one occasion, the 27-year-old’s lips swelled to almost double in size after a treatment she won as a gift.
“I honestly don’t know what went wrong, I’ve had my lips done so many times,” Jessica said in a video.
This doctor was making a gift. He did everything he was supposed to do. Right after he injected me, I looked in the mirror and realized how bloated I was.
I thought maybe it was because i hadn’t had my lips done in over a year. But by the time I got to my car, I realized it wasn’t normal.
I came back to show him. He prescribed me a steroid, and it got worse.

But on this occasion, the 27-year-old’s lips swelled up to almost double after the treatment
Jessica decided to return to the clinic the next day to have the filler dissolved because her lips still wouldn’t come down.
Fortunately, specialists were able to reverse the damage and her lips were soon back to normal.
Jessica’s experience serves as a warning about potential lip filler side effects and caution when it comes to beauty freebies.
In a follow-up video she said, “I won it for free, it was for Halloween. It sure made me look pretty creepy.”
Jessica’s regular lip filler assumed the other specialist “hit an artery,” which she said “makes sense” because the filler “didn’t know where to go.”
If your lips looked like mine did, you must be concerned. It must be resolved immediately and go to another person.
Jessica said she would “never give freebies” again and neither should anyone else.
Fortunately, specialists were able to reverse the damage and her lips were soon back to normal
The video garnered thousands of views and responses, with many disagreeing with Jessica’s doctor.
“If the doctor hits an artery, you will have a blockage of blood vessels,” one hypothesized, and another added, “Your lips will be white and pale, and you will be in great pain.”
A third added: “He didn’t hit an artery, that was a reaction.”
