Coronation Street’s Richard Fleeshman, 32, looks unrecognizable in sexy shirtless photo taken 15 years after leaving the soap

He left the cobblestones of Coronation Street in 2006.

And actor Richard Fleeshman looked truly unrecognizable 15 years later when he shared a slew of Instagram photos showing off his washboard abs. on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old actor looked very different from his goth soap character after becoming a West End star, starting with his role in Legally Blonde.

Richard joined Coronation Street in 2002 at the age of 12 and four years later he showed his vocal talents when he won Soapstar Superstar in 2006, netting him £200,000 for his chosen charity.

Since then, Richard has become a star in the West End, including Ghost: The Musical, which was based on the movie starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.

Richard is not only known on stage and screen, but is also a singer-songwriter.

The multi-talented star even supported Elton John on tour three times in 2008.

The actors Instagram has him performing with Sting on a few different occasions.

In a video posted to his Instagram, he sings with Every Breath You Take singer, Sting.

The actor captioned the post: “Tonight is the first preview of ‘The Last Ship’. This whole experience has been so rewarding and I have enjoyed watching this incredible cast that I work with to bring these amazing songs and this wonderful book to life. On to a great launch.’

The hunk’s mother is actress Sue Jenkies who also starred in the soap as Gloria Todd in the 1980s.

Richard is good friends with fellow Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas after meeting on the soap at a young age.

He recently helped him on his marathon walk for CALM by going on a long trek during his training.

At the time, he posted a video to his Instagram showing him and Ryan picking up trash in their area.

In the caption, he wrote: “Me and my friend @ryanthomas84 have been out and about a lot and we have a few things to say. please look :)’
