James Craven has confirmed his departure from Coronation Street following the emotional departure of his character Aaron Sandford from Weatherfield.
The actor’s character took center stage in a gripping storyline after he raped Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) when she fell asleep next to him.

In recent scenes, Amy wrote a letter to retract her claim, after deciding the court costs would be too much of a financial burden.
