When she returned to the factory, Stephen said, “I still think you may be going back to work too soon, I am more than capable of holding the fortress.
She yelled angrily, “Did you really think no one would tell me what’s going on? A vote of no confidence? You are a snake! You tried to throw me under the bus, you got fired!
Stephen joked, “You can’t just fire me, you need me, I’m valuable!”
Later in the episode, Carla finds Stephen to ask him to come back to the factory after learning that a major client only wants to make a deal with him.

It comes after the serial killer accidentally spikes his own drink with LSD, leading to an overwhelming reaction during a work presentation.
Stephen laced LSD in Carla’s tea in revenge for his low ranking at the factory, and her reaction almost led to tragedy when she hit Paul Foreman.
High on drugs, Stephen takes a trip down memory lane before backing out of the presentation, and as punishment, Carla cuts him out of the deal.
As an enraged Stephen heads off to buy more drugs, the two boys pocket his money and make fun of him – could the cobbles’ latest killer claim even more victims?
In the episodes, Carla (Alison King) is preparing for the Nippersnapper presentation, and Stephen (Todd Boyce) secretly pours LSD into her tea.
Carla takes a sip but spits it out, complaining he used whole milk, and Stephen soon realizes he gave her the wrong one, meaning either he or Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) drank the drugs.
When they arrive at the hotel for the presentation, Stephen goes on stage, but his vision blurs and he begins to sweat profusely.
Stephen soon realizes with horror that he must have taken the LSD, and his reaction sends him on a wild trip down memory lane.
Later, Carla scolds Stephen for backing out of the presentation, causing Sarah to continue and make it clear that he has nothing to do with the US deal anymore.
A seething Stephen goes to the police station intending to buy more drugs.
But when two boys pocket his money and laugh at him, Stephen sees red.

Viewers had previously predicted that Carla would be next on Stephen’s hit list after she dismissed his claims that he owned Underworld.
Steve had convinced Rufus that he owned Underworld when in fact it is Carla and when Carla stepped in to prove she was in charge and owned the clothing designs Steve looked like he was cooking with Carla her a sinister look. .
The villain has already claimed two victims, previously killing Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) and Leo’s father Teddy (Grant Burgin), and it probably won’t be long before he claims another…
