A Coronation Street star has reportedly left the soap after two years and her final scenes have already aired – unbeknownst to fans.
Ciaran Griffiths, who plays Damon Hay, He is said to have decided to leave the cobblestone after two years in office.
AND Sun have revealed that Ciaran’s scenes on Friday night marked his final moments in Weatherfield as he will not be returning.
In dramatic scenes this week, viewers watched as Damon was arrested. for armed robbery after being blackmailed by his brother Harvey Gaskell.
While he had the option to turn against Harvey (Will Mellor) and remain free to live with his girlfriend Sarah Platt, he decided to plead guilty and accept the years in prison with Harvey because he knew the couple would never be safe.

The brothers had a brutal fight and later reunited with plans to relaunch their criminal empire from behind bars.
And during Friday’s episode, Damon summoned Sarah (Tina O’Brien) to prison where he then broke up with her.
When Sarah promised that she would wait for him and that they could have a future together, Damon dropped a bombshell when they ended the relationship.
He confessed: ‘I don’t want you to do that because I asked you to come and tell you to your face, we’re done.
‘I’m doing you a big favor. You turned my world upside down, but if I loved you, if I loved you properly, I wouldn’t have done the things I’ve done.
‘You have to get away. Sorry, it’s my decision. Goodbye Sara.’
Damon then got up and walked away as she was devastated by the unexpected news.
And although fans didn’t know it at the time, the breakup marked Ciaran’s final scenes on the show.

It comes after Coronation Street actor Alex Bain dropped a major hint that he could also be on the verge of leaving the soap.

In the new image, the soap opera star can be seen posing in front of his dressing room, where he stated that he was “glad” to have a few days left on set.
