Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn has joked that she turned into a ‘chunk’ after gaining weight in an enclosed space.
The 26-year-old actress admitted that she enjoyed more treats while isolating, despite trying to maintain her fitness regimen after revealing her weight loss earlier in January.
Katie also revealed that she would be open to her role as Sinead Tinker on the soap from behind the grave after the character was tragically killed last year.

Katie said The sun she had regained some of the weight she lost during the COVID-19 lockdown, but now began to focus on her fitness again.

She added, “You never know. Soaps have done it in the past. I’d like to do it. It would be nice.’

In January, Katie revealed the results of her weight loss in one stone after a 12-week fitness plan and review of her diet.
She recently revealed that her health and fitness have “ faded into the background ” when filming for Coronation Street after revealing her weight loss earlier this year.
The actress exclusively told MailOnline that she built a home gym during a lockdown after vowing to become healthier after leaving the soap last year.

Katie showed her weight loss earlier this year after completing a 12-week transformation challenge, including increasing her activity to walking 15,000 steps a day.
In a conversation with MailOnline, Katie said, “I just really wanted to be healthier, I let my health and fitness run in the background when I was filming because I was filming all the time.
“I just gained some weight and I noticed that I didn’t feel very healthy. I actually wanted to boost my health so yeah, I felt great about it, I’m glad I did.
“I think your health is important. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve eaten more than I normally do, and I’ve put on a little weight, I think everyone has that! But I make sure I always train, I am active, so it is still going around. ‘
