Coronation Street viewers were treated to an explosive episode on Wednesday night as Darren finally found out about Courtney’s affair with teenager Aadi.
Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) has kept her relationship with Aadi Alahan, played by Adam Hussein, 22, a secret, but now all has been revealed.
It all happened during a lunch with Aadi’s dad Dev, who works closely with Darren, when he caught them kissing near the toilets after his son told him he had a secret wife.
Dev was furious that it could damage business with Darren as he shouted: ‘Are you out of your mind!’
Darren also later learns the secret when Aadi evicts herself from the table after tensions rise.

Courtney first admitted the affair by saying she was with someone who was ‘kind, thoughtful and charming’ and teased that he was ‘hiding in plain sight’ before Darren warned he would ‘crush whoever it was’.
As a shouting match ensued between the pair, a nervous Aadi blurted out that it was in fact him, while Darren began to wonder if Dev was indeed to blame.
Darren then shouted at Aadi that he ‘hoped she was worth it’ before storming out of the restaurant.
Later, Aadi tried to justify herself to a furious Dev by saying, “We just fell for each other, I think I might be in love. This doesn’t have to be the end of our working relationship with Darren!’
Later, Courtney came to check on Aadi looking for a place to stay after Darren kicked her out, while Dev was upset that she couldn’t be under his roof.
It comes after viewers branded Stephanie’s storyline ‘creepy and offensive’ in July.
Fans of the ITV soap took to social media to condemn her character Courtney for ‘grooming’ teenager Aadi.

Former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie, 30, recently made her debut on the cobbles as businessman Darren’s wife, wasting no time in getting to know Dev Alahan’s son.
In July, viewers were stunned when Stephanie’s character Courtney seduced her husband’s 17-year-old student, Aadi, for the first time in steamy sex scenes.
After receiving a text message where Aadi was at the office expecting to meet boss Darren (played by Ryan Early), he was surprised to find Courtney there alone and she quickly made it clear that she wanted him for more than just his business acumen.
After closing the door, Courtney – who is more than a decade older than Aadi – told how her husband had cheated on her twice before seductively taking off her shoes in front of the shocked teen.
She purred, “I think you knew I’d be here alone, or you hoped I would be and now you’re not so sure, but that’s okay.”
Courtney then told the teen not to be nervous before asking him if he had a girlfriend, with the stunner claiming he felt ‘less guilty’ about not having a girlfriend.
Calling him “sweet and innocent,” Aadi boldly declared, “I’m not innocent” before Courtney made her move and pounced, as the two kissed passionately and began undressing for their steamy office party.
In the episodes that followed, the pair continued to sneak around to continue their illicit relationship.
One person tweeted on Twitter: ‘This Courtney and Aadi storyline is basically abuse. Poor Aadi #corrie,” while another said: “Courtney & Aadi = ill-advised but not illegal #Corrie.”
Someone else admitted: ‘O good Lord! I can’t lose Aadi and Courtney. He’s just a kid!!! #CoronationStreet’, while one viewer confessed: ‘I feel sick every time Courtney touches Aadi. #corrie.’
‘I find it scary. If it was an 18 year old girl and a 30/40 year old man it wouldn’t be accepted,” one crazed fan insisted, while someone else added: “#Corrie Aadi and Courtney make me feel really uncomfortable feel.’

But then she talks to him like he’s a child, and that’s the scary part. It makes me shudder #Corrie #CoronationStreet.’
“Um, was I the only one who found that scene with Aadi and Courtney really awkward? It was supposed to be a ‘steamy affair’, but he’s just a young boy and he seemed nervous and not that enthusiastic. No hate on the actress, but it seemed creepier and more predatory to me. #corrie,” another viewer snapped.
One outraged fan tweeted: ‘@ITV @itvemmerdale_ I find Aadi’s storyline offensive as it uses the exploitative theme of grown women pushing young teenagers into sexually inappropriate relationships. And also uses threats of retaliation. Not acceptable. I work with the survivors of this abuse. It’s damaging.’
“It’s so disgusting the rift between them that she’s nursing him. Why does everyone say they like it? If it was the other way around I can guarantee the same people would be the opposite #Corrie,” another person claimed.
