The Mormon mom blogger accused of abusing her children had police called to her home twice by concerned parents and neighbors, according to explosive police reports.
Ruby Franke, 41, made her living lecturing on strict parenting, while allegedly abusing her children. She was arrested last week after one of her sons was found with open wounds and duct tape on his wrists and ankles.
Long before the sickening accusations were leveled against Franke and her podcast partner Jodi Hildebrandt, her family first landed on the cops’ radar after her children were caught running into the road in April 2022, according to police records first reported by People.
That was followed by another visit in August, when Franke’s eldest daughter, Shari, urged police to conduct a welfare check on the family’s home in Springville, Utah, fearing that her siblings would were left in the house for almost a week.
After the YouTube blogger was charged with six counts of child abuse, she made wild and shocking claims that one of her minor children had sexually abused a sibling and other children in their neighborhood.
YouTuber mum Ruby Franke (pictured) has been charged with six counts of child abuse after her 12-year-old son was found with open wounds and duct tape on his limbs.

Franke’s eldest daughter, Shari (red coat), reportedly urged cops to conduct a welfare check at the family’s Utah home in August 2022, fearing for her younger siblings.
According to police reports, Shari called Utah police after being informed by a neighbor that her younger siblings had been left alone in their home for approximately five days.
She reportedly said her mother was with Hildebrandt, whose 12-year-old son Russell allegedly escaped from her home in Irvins, Utah, last month after fleeing through a window and ran to a neighbor’s house begging for food and water.
After Shari called the Springville Police Department to check on her mother’s home, the reporting officer said, “(She) requested that we watch the kids and make sure they were safe and that they had food during the extended period.”
The police report states that the officer received no response when he knocked on the door and that “the children were seen through the windows but did not answer the door.”
After her mother’s arrest, Shari celebrated the moment by saying she had been “trying to talk to the police and CPS for years.” She also shared an image of their house on Instagram captioned: “Finally.”
It remains unclear why more decisive action was not taken, as his previous attempt to call the police to the house had also seen the officer at the scene speaking with concerned neighbors while the children were unresponsive at the door.
The Springville Police Department has been contacted for comment.
The rater said neighbors claimed “the mother of the residence, Ruby Franke, would leave her children at home for extended periods of time and go to St. George and spend time with her friend Jodi Hildebrandt.”
“Everyone who came to the scene was very concerned that they and the children were left alone in the home,” the report states.
“They expressed great concern that the two youngest children were being homeschooled while the two older children were in public school.
“Mainly because it shows that they are home alone during the day and have no way of contacting emergency services if needed as they have no phone and no landline is not available at home.”

Franke made his living lecturing on strict parenting, but explosive police reports claim his neighbors warned officers more than a year ago that they were “very concerned that the children and ‘they are left alone at home’.

Ruby Franke’s home in Springville, Utah, is seen Saturday, and it had been visited by police well before her arrest last week.

Ruby’s eldest daughter Shari, 20, posted on Instagram about her mother’s arrest, sharing an image of police outside the house captioned “Finally”

Russell Franke allegedly ran from Hildebrandt’s home (pictured) with duct tape on his wrists and ankles in order to get help.
According to KSL, the police department assisted the Utah Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) on three other occasions. The Springville Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for additional details when contacted by DailyMail.com.
The other time police were called to the home was a few months earlier, in April 2022, when a DCFS social worker contacted police after “being informed that two children were running down the road unsupervised ”, according to the police report.
When a police officer arrived, he reported seeing no children in the street.
In a stunning twist after his arrest, Franke claimed Friday via video from a Utah jail that one of his minor children sexually abused his brother and molested several other family members and neighborhood children in over the years.
But according to police reports, Franke herself called police twice in 2020 after claiming she received threatening messages regarding the exposure of her twisted family life.
In one incident on April 27, 2020, she told police she received “a text message from someone stating they were going to bring down their family and there would be riots on their doorstep when the world discovers the truth.

Ruby Franke’s husband Kevin listened in court Thursday as his wife made wild allegations about their children.
The Mormon blogger broke down in tears when she made wild allegations – without providing evidence – about her own children following her arrest on child abuse charges.
Appearing to blame his children for his behavior, Franke gave horrific details of how one of his six children abused other children.
She claimed that one of Franke’s children began watching pornography when he was just three years old.
In one of the most shocking claims, Franke said her child sexually abused a younger sibling for years, adding that eventually they both began abusing other children.
She also claimed that her two children were playing a game of “petting” with each other, but did not go into further detail.
Franke said that in May, her child confessed to sexually abusing 20 people, including cousins and neighbors.

The family exploded on social media after they began posting videos in 2015, showing the “day in the life” of the clan of six.
One of Franke’s relatives also spoke out after the YouTuber’s arrest, saying the “disgusting” child abuse case is “bigger than people think.”
An anonymous cousin claimed that child abuse, being physical and refusing to eat is something that has been a “multigenerational” problem in the Franke family in a hidden interview with Law and crime.
“I’m not shocked. It’s not a shock at all. The direction it went wasn’t where I thought it would go, but it was to be expected,” they said.
“I didn’t expect certain details of this story to match details of my own family history.
“My mother handcuffed my sisters when they were young, and lack of food was not uncommon, but it wasn’t due to lack of money and there was a time when it could have been avoided, but it wasn’t. was not the case. »
“All I can say is my mum duct tapeed my siblings. I’m not shocked.
When asked when they last saw Ruby, they said, “When I was very young, it was a long time ago. Over 15 years ago.
