A sex worker has been found dead in a unit on one of Sydney’s most historic inner-city streets, days after she was last seen.

The body of the woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found on Thursday last week at an apartment on Glebe Point Road in the trendy inner-city suburb of Glebe.

Emergency services were called to the unit after neighbors became concerned for the woman’s welfare, following reports of a bad smell coming from behind the door.

Although the woman has not yet been formally identified, Daily Mail Australia understands she was a sex worker using the professional name Bailey Summers, whose real name was Georgia.

A profile on the website of brothel Liaisons, based in Edgecliff, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, describes her as a “Morgan Fairchild lookalike” and says she is 25 years old.

She is believed to have relatives in the UK who are flying to Australia to hold her funeral.
