The convicted drug dealer turned artisan watchmaker spent some time in Paris and is currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The 47-year-old shared several photos on Instagram on Friday from her visit to Zandvoort beach in the picturesque region.

“Zandvoort, a beautiful coastal city. Amsterdam,” she wrote in the caption, adding a pensive face emoji.

In the images, Schapelle drank a large liter of beer while wearing a bohemian floral dress with crochet details.

Amsterdam is famous for its licensed coffee shops, where small amounts of marijuana and hashish are allowed to be sold.

This comes after Kyle Sandilands recently shared his theory about where Schapelle’s drug-filled surfboard bag really came from following his infamous arrest at Bali airport almost 20 years ago.

Schapelle was jailed for nine years for attempting to smuggle cannabis into Indonesia.

She was arrested at Bali airport in October 2004 with 4.2kg of cannabis wrapped in plastic inside her surfboard bag.

Schapelle has always maintained her innocence and her lawyers argued that she had unwittingly become a drug mule, suggesting that baggage handlers planted the drugs in her bag.

Radio host Kyle, 53, spoke about her imprisonment on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

He said he believes the smugglers forgot to remove the cannabis from the bag after their transit flight from Brisbane to Sydney, causing it to accidentally travel to Bali.

“I think they missed something that was supposed to go from Brisbane to Sydney. They lost it and it left and was redirected to Bali,” he shared.

Her co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson also shared her condolences with Schapelle, saying she did not deserve the nine-year prison sentence.

“She almost lost her mind over it. Either way, even if she did, I don’t think she deserved what happened,” Jackie argued.

Schapelle has started a new life after being released from an Indonesian prison in 2014 and now makes a living as a successful watchmaker.

Earlier this year, she promoted some of her colorful watches to her 162,000 followers, which typically sell for around $220.
