Matt Lodge has opened up about undergoing a cosmetic procedure that most 28-year-old men would rarely confess to.
The Manly star and former Broncos enforcer says he has “paved the way for the next generation” after showing a noticeably different look during the Sea Eagles’ 34-30 win over the Titans.
Lodge revealed how a family trip to Gallipoli coincided with surgery that made him feel younger.
That’s right, Lodge has undergone a hair transplant.
According to News Corp, he saved more than $20,000 by moving his operation overseas and believes his football career could be prolonged with the move.
Matt Lodge has undergone a cosmetic procedure that most men rarely talk about.
“Everyone thought it was time to retire… I’m only 28 years old,” he said.
‘I have taken on the tough role and paved the way for the next generation of young bald men.
‘There is a very long list of high profile people asking about this special service.
“Due to the number of inquiries I receive, I may have to prepare a direct package for people.”
The hair transplant lasted only one day, and the procedure was not very stigmatized in Turkey and the rest of Europe.
“I’m not someone who takes any medication or spends a fortune on my hair,” she said.
‘For what it cost me… I have had worse Saturdays at the punt.
‘It was very affordable.
‘I went on a trip to Europe with my family after doing my ACL as a break to get away and come back refreshed before rehab started.
“I won’t confirm exactly where I went, but I visited Disneyland (in the United States), Paris, the Greek Islands, Ibiza, Malta and I also went to see Gallipoli.”
