Christie Swadling has been criticised for unhygienic behaviour in the kitchen.
The 27-year-old influencer shared a video of herself making Nutella protein energy balls for a friend who just had a baby.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Swadling showed her 121,000 followers how to make the sweet treat, which consisted of Nutella, protein powder and oat flour.
But one eagle-eyed follower caught her eye when she dipped her “dirty nails” into the bowl of the mixture.
“How disgusting to have her dirty nails stuck in your food like that!” the user wrote to Swadling.
Hours later, while sharing the DM again, Swadling lashed out at the fan and defended himself.
“Sorry I have to cook for two new moms with pre-washed hands, organic ingredients, and the cleanest kitchen you’ve probably ever seen… but… I do have pretty long natural nails,” she wrote.

This comes after the influencer broke her silence following rumours of her split from her fiancé Joel Price after he was served with a restraining order and charged with common assault related to domestic violence.
In April, NSW Police served Price, 38, with an interim domestic violence order (AVO) on behalf of Swadling, 27. Price has pleaded not guilty to the assault charge.
In a recent TikTok video, Swadling was lying in bed and not wearing her engagement ring as she reassured her fans that the couple had not split despite the AVO.
“I can’t believe I’m still getting questions about this, but it’s about the current (apparent) breakup between Joel and I,” she said in the clip.

‘Publicly, I think there are two main theories as to why this is happening. The first is that I haven’t been wearing my ring. The second is that I haven’t been posting or anything with my fiancé Joel. Just so you know, if you have an engagement ring, you shouldn’t be wearing it in the shower, the gym, or cleaning. So I take them off for all three of those things.’
“Secondly, my partner literally works for the mines,” he added. “He’s the busiest bastard I’ve ever met in my life. Sometimes he works seven days a week, 16- to 18-hour days.
“Bitch, I don’t have time to take pictures of him. And the days he’s home or we have some free time, I don’t want to spend it with him. We just want to be present.”
