Antonio Brown has encouraged voter registration in Pennsylvania after endorsing Donald Trump for president earlier this year, as the former commander in chief returns to the scene of his assassination attempt.
Trump and a host of other Republicans are speaking at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania, less than three months after the former president was shot in the ear during another rally there.
Brown has long been a fan of Trump despite claiming he has never met him.
The former Pittsburgh Steeler also posted that he would make a public appearance to support his beliefs.
“Steeler Nation see you Sunday at the game. Before then, be sure to register to vote in this year’s election. @x makes it easy to find the information and every vote counts @elonmusk,” Brown said on social media .
Antonio Brown will reportedly attend the Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday night.
Brown’s message comes as Trump returns to Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was shot.
Brown also congratulates X and its owner, Elon Musk. The billionaire has also endorsed Trump as president and has had no qualms about showing it on his platform.
Brown posts many messages with the hashtag #CTESPN, a combination of the concussion condition associated with being hit in the head and the popular sports network.
The former Buccaneer and Steeler also took shots at Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz and Travis Kelce in X over the past day.
Brown also posted a screenshot of a direct message sent to him by Trump’s vice presidential nominee, JD Vance.
Vance also reposted one of Brown’s messages on X from the previous Saturday, where he announced Donald Trump Jr. as his ‘cookie of the day.’
Vance reposted a photo of himself with the original message, apparently entering his name for future consideration.
Brown has not played in the NFL since a 2021 incident in which he removed his shoulder pads and jersey and ran to the locker room shirtless in the middle of a game.
