Conor McGregor has arranged a boxing match with Logan Paul in India, the UFC legend claims on his social media account.
McGregor set social media ablaze early Tuesday morning with a statement claiming rumors of a fight with Georgian-Spanish fighter Ilia Topuria were false, before revealing his plans.
As part of the shock announcement, McGregor also teased his long-awaited return to the Octagon, three years after his last appearance in the UFC.
“The rumors of a fight with (Topuria) are false,” the 36-year-old wrote on X on Tuesday.
“I have made preliminary arrangements with the Ambrani family to meet Logan Paul at a boxing exhibition in India.
‘I agreed.

Paul has fought professionally twice in his career, losing to KSI before defeating Dillon Danis
“Then I will seek my return to the Octagon,” he concluded in his brief statement.
The Irishman’s return to the Octagon has long been a point of speculation as he has not fought since back-to-back defeats to Dustin Poirier in 2021.
The first man to simultaneously hold titles in two weight classes in the UFC, McGregor remains one of the biggest pay-per-view draws in MMA.
In the meantime, he has been linked with a number of returns to MMA and the UFC, with former lightweight contender Michael Chandler offering himself as a potential opponent for a comeback fight.
Chandler had previously called for a fight with McGregor following his defeat to Charles Oliveira at UFC 309.
The pair have long been expected to meet in the Octagon, and last year they coached The Ultimate Fighter Season 31 against each other.
However, the news of a third foray into the boxing ring may come as a shock, with Paul set to be McGregor’s next opponent after a professional clash with Floyd Mayweather in 2017 and an exhibition meeting with Michael McGrane in Dublin two years later.
McGregor appeared in court in his native Ireland accused of “brutally raping and assaulting” 35-year-old Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel in 2018.

McGregor took on the former five-weight world boxing champion in a professional meeting in 2017 and lost by technical knockout
In November he was ordered to pay almost €250,000 (£208,000) in damages after a jury found him liable for assaulting Hand.
The former two-weight UFC champion has vehemently denied the claims and released a statement on social media saying he will appeal the verdict.
He wrote of I have instructed my legal team to appeal the decision.”
Earlier on Tuesday, he said on the social media platform: “I have been found liable for assault, and guilty of nothing. I will prosecute all slanderous writings about me.”
In Paul he finds an opponent who has fought professionally twice: he defeated Dillon Danis in 2023 and lost to fellow YouTuber KSI in 2019.
The 29-year-old also faced former five-weight world champion Mayweather, this time in an exhibition bout in 2021 in a non-scored draw.
Paul’s younger brother, Jake, called out McGregor after his points victory over Mike Tyson earlier this year.
