Abby Hensel’s husband has been acquitted of a paternity lawsuit brought by his ex-wife, from whom he had separated two years before marrying the famous conjoined twin.
Abby, now 34, from Minnesota, married Josh Bowling, 33, a nurse and Army veteran in 2021, but her boyfriend’s ex-wife, Annica Bowling, filed a paternity suit in October 2023 alleging that may have sired a three year old.
But former military doctor Bowling, 34, has been cleared in the paternity case after a genetic test found he is not the father of Annica’s second child.
The lawsuit, filed in Minnesota District Court in Washington County, came nearly two years after he married Abby, who is his sister Brittany’s conjoined twin.
Josh Bowling, 33, left, was cleared of a paternity test with his ex-wife Annica, right. Their divorce was finalized on April 23, 2020. Annica had another child that same year.
Abby Hensel’s husband, Josh Bowling, has been acquitted of the paternity lawsuit brought by his ex-wife, Annica Bowling, with whom he separated in 2019 and shares a daughter.
Josh and Annica married in 2010 and then separated in 2019, according to court records. They currently share custody of their eight-year-old daughter Isabella.
Court records seen by DailyMail.com show that Annica filed the lawsuit against Josh and another man named Gavin Vatnsdal, who has now been discovered to be the test’s biological father.
—He is not Mr. Bowling’s son. He is my client’s son,” Vatnsdal’s lawyer, Gregory Seamon, told the court.
“I believe all parties agree that Mr. Vatnsdal should be the father tried and Mr. Bowling should be released and removed from the birth certificate,” Judge Siv Mjanger ruled during Friday’s hearing.
